I’m a New Mexico photographer interested in capturing the unique details, moments and patterns in life.

I studied theatre production, scenery and lighting design; receiving my M.F.A. in Scenic and Lighting Design from the University of Iowa. Documenting my design work continued my fascination with capturing specific moments of a production using the theatre’s proscenium to frame my images.

My training in stage set and lighting design is the foundation for how I approach photography. Stage productions are comprised of hundred’s of pictures depicting individual moments within a play. Using available light I employ this same strategy capturing specific moments and details of what I see.
